Will buying tickets at MSG Box Office remove the ticketmaster service fee?
i'm willing to exercise an hour subway ride if I can avert the 27 dollar service fee. Only I wanna know if anyone has any experience with it?

Yep. The Ticketmaster fee is for buying it on Ticketmaster.

With the sectional deals they work out with the venues, I wouldn't have been shocked to discover out you pay that fee, somehow, even at the venue.

This is of import. I went to the MSG box office the day tickets for a concert went on sale to the public to avoid stupid, immoral Ticketmaster fees and they said tickets go on sale at the box office 24 hours after online public auction.
And so I bought the tickets online from the MSG lobby.

Presales are online but since they are run by ticketmaster and not the venue box function. While some venues are, the msg box part is not a Ticketmaster box function which is likewise why they dont charge ticketmaster service fees.

If possible go to the venue to get tickets, there will exist no fees added besides taxation (in my experience)
Premium seats are commonly not available as they get bought up by and sold by the soulless dick tarts at ticketmaster and the similar

I don't know about MSG just I bought tix for a show at the Paramount in Huntington and they still charged 1/2 the Ticketmaster fee.
